We are Family Disco

Sister Sledge once sang ‘We are family, I got all my sisters with me, we are family, get up everybody and sing’. At the time of it’s release we were heading into the 1980’s when family discos we part of the cultural scene where nearly all in the family felt moved to get up and boogie at parties.
These days, children seem more preoccupied by their electronic devices and downloading music for their own personal playlist then dancing with mum and dad.

45 years after Sister Sledge sang those once infamous lines, families are coming together to spend quality time out from their busy schedule and do something fun, something that escapes from the everyday …so get up everybody and sing!
