World Fireworks Championship

~It’s still only two months to go till Guy Fawkes Night  but it appears Blackpool is ahead of the game when it comes to fireworks.

Scheduled to begin this Friday September 9th and running every Friday until September 30th, ‘The World Fireworks Championships’ is expected to light up the skies in a bright glorious glow with several loud explosive bangs thrown in for good measure too.

Four teams are competing for the greatest firework, including Australia, Slovakia, America and the UK will also battle it out with their Titanium Fireworks.

The event will begin at 7.30pm with the first series of fireworks taking to the skies from 8.30pm. In addition, Australia’s Skylighter Fireworks will compete on the opening night, Friday September 9th.

So if you’d like a quiet night in this Friday, then, this isn’t for you. Alternatively, if you like to live on the edge and have a yearning for loud bangs and colourful displays, then this is definitely for you. Enjoy and be safe around fireworks.
