Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston

Over 60 years ago the singer Johnny Tillotson released the infectious rock ‘n’ roll number ‘Poetry in Motion’. A song that defined his legacy which at the time put into words how he saw his girlfriend.

Yet in totally different context the Damson Poets have their own ‘Poetry in Motion’. As one poet follows another and the night flows beautifully on a summers evening.

The next purely open mic night will take place on Wednesday 31st July 2024 from 7.30pm – 9.30pm in The Boatyard space – The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston.

There will be a combination of new and experienced readers to appeal to everyone. If you’re interested in a slot they’ll be taking names from 7.15pm. Each slot is a maximum of 5 minutes. Entrance is free.
