Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston.

When we were children we all had that ideal imaginarium, a place where we could creatively think out of the box. To immerse ourselves in total solitude in order to let our imagination run wild.

Sounds like the early workings of a poetic thinker, right? If you know how to rhyme words and have an ability with the English language you’ll find yourself at home on a forthcoming evening very soon.

The next ‘Damson Poets’ takes place in The Boatyard space of The New Continental pub – South Meadow Lane Preston on Wednesday 26th June 2024 from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.

This month’s Guest Poet is Steve Rowland who will be reading excerpts from this new collection of work entitled, ‘From the Imaginarium’.

There will also be an opportunity for new and experienced readers for the open mics slots. Organisers will start taking names from 7.15pm. Each slot is a maximum of 5 minutes. Entrance is free.
