Never underestimate the depth of a town in the Lancashire district. A place like Nelson has so much history and is brought to life by the many characters that live there. 

From Wednesday 28th February – Saturday 2nd March 2024 you can enjoy, ‘This is Nelson – The Stories We Tell – Immersive Walk’- throughout various locations across Nelson.

This walk will guide you through the memories, life events and experiences of local people, which will animate the walls and pavements of the town. Each person will be given a set of headphones in which both audio and film will interpret the real stories from the people who live there.

This informative event is delivered through ‘This is Nelson’ an arts and culture strand of the Nelson Town Deal, audiences can enjoy this experience in Nelson with Rochdale – based theatre company Breaking Barriers.
