~Morecambe’s annual kite festival is back this weekend ( July 16th and 17th ) Catch the Wind captures kite flying at it’s most brilliant. Including  a diverse range of sizes and shapes.

Between the hours of 12noon till 5pm you can  enjoy promenade favourites in the form of  live music, street entertainment and children’s workshops.

Music genres covering the weekend include instrumental dream pop folk, steel drum acoustics, experimental installations, sounds of samba and Galician style music.

The event is in association with More Music and is fun for all. There is plenty to see and do in this exciting weekend of airborne entertainment.
