If the rock legend David Bowie was still alive today he would have made it to 77 in a couple of days time. Yes, right up till his untimely death Bowie was a creative genius, he even made his impending death a creative concept on his final album ‘Blackstar’ released in January 2016.

It was a career that spanned over 5 decades in music from his alien androgyny Ziggy Stardust to the chameleon of rock who kept up with the ever changing climate and adjusted his genre to fit the mood of the nation.

Fans were left heartbroken from his sad passing 8 years ago this month. Many felt like his stamp on the music industry was totally irreplaceable and there will never be anyone quite like him again.

Fortunately, tribute acts can do justice to the songs we all love and ‘Absolute Bowie’ is no exception. They’ll be performing all the hits at The Grand venue – Clitheroe on Saturday 11th May 2024 from 7pm.
