If the last five years or so have taught us anything is that serious issues can make humans more resilient. We’ve certainly experienced a fair share in crisis what with Brexit, COVID-19, the wars abroad, political unrest and the increase in natural disasters. Let’s face it there hasn’t been much to chuckle about.

Yet, as we enter another year the brits in general are looking for a little escapism, some light humour to lighten the tone of the serious subject matter we’re being bombarded with on a daily basis.

The Laughienda Comedy Club is returning to The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane Preston on Wednesday February 7th 2024 from 7.30pm -10.30pm.

Headline act Scott Bennett will be delivering material of a comic nature. He has even been endorsed by well –known comedian Rob Brydon!

Hosted by Jack Kelly there will also feature support from three other celebrated comedians who aim to raise a smile and a winning applaud.
