The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane, Preston can cater for many different tastes.

If you’re literary fan you can attend the poetry evenings, if you appreciate the local talent of Preston you can be seated at the open mic night or if you prefer a raucous performance you can headbang to a punk tribute act.

There really is something for everyone, taking into consideration what the punters are looking for to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family.

On Sunday January 14th 2024 they are delighted to invite interested ones to soak up the sounds of the ‘Snug Sofa Sessions – Munch Manship Quartet’ – 7.30pm -10.30pm.

Bringing together four North West jazz musicians with phenomenal pedigrees, the Munch Manship Quartet is a swinging, melodic outfit that evokes the hard bop bands of the 50s and 60s.

The band is comprised of the following four members –

• John Bailey – Guitar
• Caroline Boaden – Drums
• Gary Culshaw – Bass
• Munch Manship - Tenor Sax

Entrance is free however space is limited in the snug so please arrive early if you’d like a seat.
