Art Open 2024

For some of us the pandemic is a fading memory, a time we prefer to forget and a feeling like the present has more optimism.

However, now that we are out of lockdowns and long periods of isolation, can you recall how you spent your time?Perhaps you worked on jobs around the home or you helped out a neighbour who was left housebound.

Maybe though, you nurtured a skill you’ve only just discovered.  Creative arts is well known to be a wonderful therapeutic healer and can focus your mind and energy on positive things so that you feel calmer and more in touch with your inner self.

The second Art Open 2024 is returning to the Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery from Saturday 27th January – Saturday 13th April.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for both amateur and professional artists to showcase their work.
