Over a century ago a classic children’s story was written that was later developed into a feature film.

The Wizard of Oz is a magical youthful novelty that has stood the test of time. With it’s subtle message played out by a lion, a scarecrow and a tin man it has been the blueprint of every young person’s childhood over many generations.

Now you can experience a contemporary feel to it with the musical coming to the Liverpool Empire Theatre this winter.

With established classic songs from the original film and a several other new compositions, this promises to be a real treat for young and older audiences alike.
