Who said the dark winter days were all about binge watching your favourite TV series and longing for spring?

A popular event is returning to the shores of Morecombe bay very soon.

Baylight ’24 – Morecombes’ Light Art Festival will be dazzle young and old audiences alike over three nights – Thursday 15th – Saturday 17th February 2024.

Make good use of the dark evenings by attending this magnificent event where you can bring all the family to enjoy a fun, free light art festival taking place over the half term period.

Last year they entertained an audience of approximately 21000 visitors into the town that gained fantastic praise from those attending.

It’s not just light art either, you can experience giant puppets, street performers and so much more. With it’s strong link with Morecombe BID this allows many local shops open late to cater boosting trade and tourism.

Baylight is funded by Lancashire County Council, Morecambe BID and Morecambe Town Council with support from Lancaster City Council.
