Francis Rossi - Tunes and Chat

Dates: 30 Oct 2023 - 30 Oct 2023

Location: Blackburn King George's Hall

In their heyday they were labelled as the four barred chord melody musicians. But, there was much to Status Quo than how they were perceived by the music press.

For example, in July 1985 they had the heavy responsibility of opening Live Aid at Wembley Stadium with the aptly themed song ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’.

Then there was the unique friendship between guitarist Rick Parfitt and frontman Francis Rossi – Parifft’s death towards the closure of 2016 rocked Rossi yet the band continued.

Take a look at the band in action performing their hit record which was originally a rock song written by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival. You can see the bond between Rossi and Parfitt in this crowd- pleasing number –

Now Francis Rossi will be appearing at the Blackburn King George’s Hall on Sunday 29th October for ‘Tunes and Chat’. Doors – 7pm.

If you’re a fan of the band this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as we relive the Quo’s greatest hits.
