Age. It catches up on all of us eventually. Take a band like Dexy’s Midnight Runners. In their heyday they looked like they’d just left a country barn dance with infectious tracks that kept you going till the following day.

These days they prefer to be called simply Dexys and look considerably older both in their fashion sense and progression in music.

However, that hasn’t prevented them on going on the road and they’ll be performing all the classic hits very soon. Dexys will be playing a live set on Thursday 7th September at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall from 7.30pm sharp.
