It’s often the case where a youthful band begins their career with excitable punk based anthems then after they have had a measure of success, they change their sound and become unrecognisable.

Take a band like Arctic Monkeys, they reached commercial heights following the release of their debut album 2006’s ‘Whatever people say I Am, that’s what I’m not’- which included their first hit single ‘I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor’.

From there, they made a string of albums that continued in the same format as their first. However, by 2017, they had aged. Fans felt a change of direction was unusual and drifted somewhat from their early career. 2022’s seventh studio album, ‘The Car’ demonstrated a more mellow jazz infused sound that divided fans and music critics.

Let’s remind ourselves of their youthful exposure to performing live on television with their first single and probably their most memorable –
