Who would have thought a couple of French dudes would create such a storm in the charts with their unique sound of funk, disco, rock and synth pop.

Yes, during their nearly 30 -year reign in music Daft Punk became one of the most influential acts in dance music. Hidden by the guise of their robot identity, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem- Christo were formed in 1993 but it wasn’t until their 1997 debut album ‘Homework’ was released that they caught the eye of the music press.

By 2013 they were twenty years in the music business which gradually saw their demise. However, before their departure their fourth and final record was released ‘Random Access Memories’ much to critical acclaim. Lead single ‘Get Lucky’ reached the top 10 in the charts in 27 countries and featured vocals from Pharrell Williams and Chic frontman Nile Rodgers on guitar. Memories of their live shows can now be relived thanks to Daft Funk Live – Tribute to Daft Punk. This fantastic tribute act will be performing all the numbers we know and love at The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston on Friday October 6th 2023 from 8pm -11pm.
