The Last Days of Disco

Do you remember when ‘Back to Future’ was released in 1985? It was synonymous for it’s usage of time travel and finding lead role Marty McFly (played by Michael J Fox) navigating himself around a confused 1955 in a bid to be the hero and get his parents romantically involved.

Note the genre of music he famously played on stage- it was rock n roll. However, what if the trilogy was rebooted for the modern era and Marty could be Martine performing dancefloor classics instead.

On Friday 13th October 2023 you can travel back in time to an era where artists such as the late Irene Care, Debarge and Kool and the Gang were all the rave.

The Last Days of Disco will be performed by a series of young performing artists and a spectacular seven -piece band at the King George’s Hall in Blackburn from 7pm.
