Rock AM River 2023

Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston

This years Glastonbury festival was a roll call of established acts over the course of three days. Headline act The Arctic Monkeys infused old school noughties indie rock with their current smooth jazz sound to get the crowd bouncing.

Preston band The Empire Police show early signs of influences of the Monkeys in their lyrical and sound dynamics.

The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane Preston may not have the same grandeur and big- name acts as Glastonbury but with main act The Empire Police it hopes to pull in a large audience to support other local bands pitching a place in the music world.

Rock AM River 2023 is taking place on Saturday 16th September from 12noon – 11pm. The all -day extravaganza will feature DJs, business stalls and BBQ food as well as introducing local bands to the main stage.
