Wes Anderson is an American filmmaker who is very much an auteur in the modern era. His films have continual theme of grief, loss of innocence and dysfunctional families.

His most recent film ‘Asteroid City’ is an American comedy drama which depicts the events of a Junior Stargazer convention in a retro-futuristic version of 1955, staged as a play and the creation of a play.

It has a fantastic cast featuring actors and actresses such as Tom Hanks, Tilda Swinton and Jeff Goldblum.
