You cannot escape the fact that a certain royal event is taking place this coming weekend. There will parties up and down the country in honour of the new king.

You may though prefer something more laidback than the pomp and ceremony that is guaranteed to occur.

The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane – Preston, never fail to disappoint when it comes to another bank holiday weekend. They always have top bands and the beer keeps on flowing till late in the evening.

On Monday May 8th 2023 you can enjoy ‘Zamaica – Live and Direct from the Beer Garden’ – 12 noon till 8pm.

A reggae infused sound that will help to chill you out and give you perfect escapism from the events in the south of England.

Entrance is free and there will also be a set from DJ Northfyer. Organisers are encouraging interested ones to bring the family.

Bank holiday Mondays never sounded so good.
