Are you tired of the daily routine? Taking the kids to school, getting yourself to work only feel to worn out by teatime.

Perhaps you’re looking for a little escapism. A couple of hours to switch off and turn on to the cinematic experience of watching a film knowing you have the freedom to forget about responsibilities for a while.

Fortnightly a local pub holds an event catered for you. Cinema at the Continental takes places every other Tuesday in the dedicated space ‘The Boatyard’.

You’ll be able to view either –

  • Recent releases
  • Old favourites
  • Cult classics
  • Hidden gems

For the first screening the film has been selected, but subsequently they will be using a vote system that gives you the choice of three films, the film with the highest amount of votes is then selected for the next screening!

Organisers are keenly interested to hear of any recommendation you may have. The next big screen adventure will be Tuesday 2nd May 2023. Doors open 7pm with a 7.30pm start. Club subs / Entry is just £3.
