Inclusive Pathways – Partnerships With Purpose

Inclusive Pathways – Partnerships With Purpose

Dates: 19 Apr 2023 - 19 Apr 2023

Location: Manchester Museum

The definition of inclusivity simply means the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those having physical or intellectual disabilities or belonging to other minority groups.

The concept of inclusivity needs to be widely open for those within the creative workforce. Never underestimate the talent of an artist who may be handicapped. Never question the motives of someone who wishes to pursue music but is severely deaf. Never challenge an individual who wants a career in radio but hasn’t learnt to read or write.

On Wednesday 19th April 2023 from 6pm -9pm – Manchester Museum is opening it’s doors for a three hour event entitled  - ‘Inclusive Pathways – Partnerships With Purpose’.

The event is co-created by Pinc College (a specialist college for creative education) and it hopes to enlighten the public on the inclusive workforce within the arts that is introducing many talented people  who would otherwise not get a look in to the fantastic opportunities at their fingertips.

The event is free to attend but you need to book your place at the following website link - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/inclusive-pathways-pinc-college-and-manchester-museum-event-tickets-542677411747

Join Manchester Museum and Pinc College to explore the potential of the Creative and Cultural Sector to pioneer in creating pathways for an inclusive workforce.
