UCLan Students\' Union

Location: Preston | UK

Our Mission is to ‘make life better for students’.

We do this by representing you and your interests, and creating change, by helping when you need it and providing great opportunities. We are proud of our independence and the job we do to create change for the better.

To make sure we respond to things you care about we make sure students are at the heart of our decision making processes and our Students' Council, Zones, Go Out and Listen programme and surveys make sure we act on your ideas and feedback. Our Union Plan was built on student feedback about the Union.

The Union is a democratic body that involves students at every level of its decision making - and every year we hold elections to elect the Student Affairs Committee to represent you and campaign on issues that affect you. We believe our democracy is an important strength and think it's great that so many students get involved in the union.

Every student is automatically a member of the Union which is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a charity. You can find out more about us in the Union FAQ section of the website or by contacting the Union President.
