These two seminars are designed to address key themes relevant to creative practitioners involved in the maker movement and industry.

The first one is taking place on Wednesday 3rd May at Blackburn Cathedral from 6.30pm- 8.30pm. The evening will be hosted by Dave Kirkwood and will feature Craig Oldham ( an eponymous practice of design and creative consultant ), Hamish Muir ( co-founder of the London-based graphic design studio 8vo (1985-2001) and Jane Foster ( an award winning illustrator, author and textile designer ).

Dave too is no stranger to the arts, he founded his art and design practice, DaveKirkwoodStudio, in 2007 and has developed experimental and charity based work  for the past ten years.
