Bio :

I manage the CCG_UK and I have worked on 'the role of the social worker in adult mental health' at Whitehall and the UCLan Equality and Diversity Conference. I have presented at World Social Work Day at Kings College London; The North West Samaritan’s Conference, at Lancaster University and I organised and presented mental health conferences at UCLan and Huddersfield New College; delivering the highly evaluated 'Towards a better tomorrow' at Salford Univeristy.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and I work for Fylde Coast Counselling.  I have an interest in using creative methods for teaching like the use of juggling, music, storytelling, metaphor and role play and I am a qualified Post 16 Lecturer - having taught at Runshaw and Blackpool and the Fylde.

I won the 2015 NASES National Highly Commended Award for the work at UCLan students' Union. I was the UCLan SU Job Shop Employee of the year in 2015 and North West Regional winner.

I have written two books and I contributed to the CCG Creative Pathways to Education book of 2015. I have finished a blog following the FA Cup from grass roots football and covered games from 58 fans right through to 89,000 fans at the final.
