~If a child is taught to read at a young age, they will be better equipped as adults  to deal with life in general. This could be within the workplace or simply reading for leisure. Books can play an indelible mark on the mind and thought process  allowing the reader to develop their language and conversational skills much more so.

This Saturday March 16th between 9am - 6pm marks the return of the annual Northern YA Literary Festival. It will be held at UCLAN’S Greenbank and Harrington Social Space at the Preston Campus.
