~In 1985 a film was released that captured the imagination of young people. It made them believe in the possibility of time travel and gave them an incentive to learn to skateboard.

Now nearly 35 years later, Back to the Future is an absolute classic and it’s given a new generation of fans the desire  to skateboard just like Marty.

This is all thanks to  free skateboarding workshops taken place this summer. The next one is this Tuesday 13th August 2019. It will be based at Moor Park from 10am - 11.30am. Cost of admission is completely free just be willing to learn, have a go and impress all your friends with your neat tricks.

Please note :- All skateboards and safety gear will be supplied by Northern Rolling. The workshops are suitable for ages 8 and upwards.

If you would like to take part just meet at the Moor Park Skatepark at 10am on the day. All participants must sign a consent form and under 16s must have a parent or guardian present to sign. Workshops are limited to 20 places. For more information or to check places left email info@northernrolling.co.uk.

The free skateboarding classes began on 23rd July and following the 13th August there remains just two dates, 20th and 27th August. These workshops create an opportunity for young people to learn to skateboard and hone their skills.

Back to the Future is being re-imagined for a whole new audience as next year it begins it’s debut season as a stage musical. Fans of the original series will be interested to see how Marty skateboards across a stage!

Prior to the 2020 launch why not get skilled in skateboarding then one day you’ll be taking a hoverboard to school:-
