~Youth, the  time when you have dreams, some big, some small. If you’re an outgoing, interactive person you may have a dream to engage in performing arts. Colleges and Universities can specialise in that goal but there is, however a short course which will give you more of an insight into the industry you could be considering.

From Wednesday 28th August - Friday 30th August 2019 The Stanley Arms pub in Preston are welcoming 16-25 year olds on a three day course with industry directors, actors and film makers the opportunity to experience life as a professional actor.

In association with Lancashire People’s Theatre, ‘Flavour’ will teach young people the following three key ingredients for a career in the arts:-

  1. Vocal and physical freedom
  2. Acting techniques for both stage and screen
  3. Audition Technique

Each day begins at 11am and concludes at 5pm. If you’re the parent of a son or daughter which fit’s the age bracket then please encourage them to attend, they will learn so much and it will increase both their skills and their interaction with others.
